Playlist for the Weekend of September 12th: Tribute to Groove Garden

Submitted by Tarik on Sunday, 14 September 20084 Comments

On this week’s show we honor the long running Groove Garden radio on 90.3fm KFAI in the Twin Cities. This is the show where I got my start in radio and as a DJ.  This past weekend was the final episode of the Groove Garden hosted by DJ Jennifer. I started on the show as a co-host back in late 1999.  Then in 2005, Don Cuco and I started the Rhythm Lab Radio on 89.3 fm the Current.  If it wasn’t for DJ Jennifer and the Groove Garden, Rhythm Lab Radio would not have existed.  So this show was dedicated to her and the Groove Garden. Check out the final show here.
