Playlist for the Weekend of September 12th: Tribute to Groove Garden
On this week’s show we honor the long running Groove Garden radio on 90.3fm KFAI in the Twin Cities. This is the show where I got my start in radio and as a DJ. This past weekend was the final episode of the Groove Garden hosted by DJ Jennifer. I started on the show as a co-host back in late 1999. Then in 2005, Don Cuco and I started the Rhythm Lab Radio on 89.3 fm the Current. If it wasn’t for DJ Jennifer and the Groove Garden, Rhythm Lab Radio would not have existed.
