Some of you may be asking who in the hell is Nikki Jean? Well she is one talented singer/songwriter (and really cute) originally from the Twin Cities now living in Philadelphia. She was part of an amazing group called Nouveau Riche. However, you might be more familiar with her when she sang the hook on Lupe Fiasco’s “Hip Hop Saved My Life”. Recently on her ‘almost’ daily video blog she reported that she has a major label deal with Sony/Columbia. In the video, you can see how big a record contract is now a days (that contract must of killed at least 2-3 trees). So hopefully we will see a solo release in 2009 from the lovely Ms. Jean.
