Dorian Concept Remixes
Nerdy Austrian cat buys nice synthesizer, makes tweaked out edits of contemporary classics, posts them on the internet, enjoys moderate to middling blog-attention. A classic love story that’s impossible to resist. Who can refuse?
Dorian Concept has been involved in some small projects that fit into certain well-defined pockets, but let’s be honest — he’s not a household name. Regardless, he’s got some obvious skill. He crosses Fog’s Andrew Broder’s DIY aesthetic, the swirly production style of Electric Circus, and the constant disintegration of Jan Jelinek. While it would be hard to make any improvement on Dabrye and J. Dilla or “Stay Fly,” these versions deserve a minute.
