Share your love for PBR with an Art Contest

Alright, I’m gonna say this once for all of you people who don’t live in Milwaukee and drink PBR.  Milwaukee is the home of PBR, and if I hear anyone disrespects Milwaukee, there will be consequences.  I haven’t figure what the  consequences will be, but trust me you won’t like it. I will take a clue from the NYC T-shirt that reads “Love Your Own City” and create a shirt that reads”Love Your Own Beer”.

All joking aside,  PBR or Pabst Blue Ribbon for those who don’t know is holding their annual art contest.

In 2008, we were overwhelmed by the entries that we received for the art contest. Each day that we got a new artistic entry we felt as our ancestors did in 1893 when Pabst won the Blue Ribbon.  To bring that feeling back, we are conducting another contest in 2009.

This time, we are asking talented Pabst drinkers to try their hand in four categories: Painting, Sculpting, Photography and Poetry. Official rules are available here. So, get your creative juices flowing and enter the Pabst Art Contest for your chance at $1,893 and a year of beer*.

I might try to create something on iphone with this cool app called Brushes.
