Another year that I miss SXSW.  I really need to get some sponsorships to send me down there. Anyway I came across this amazing electronic label based out of San Antonio, Texas called Exponential Records. Their roster only includes Texas based electronic artists.

Exponential Records is an independent record label based out of San Antonio, TX devoted to releasing solid electronic, downtempo, and experimental music. The label began in 2002 when graphic designer / producer, Ernest Gonzales, teamed up with DJ Jester the Filipino Fist to release the Heavily Booted mixtape. Shortly thereafter, Gonzales released Algorythm, recording under the alias, Theory of Everything.

They just released their label sampler featuring their artists called “Texas” and having a two day launch party for the sampler which you can download for free. 17 tracks of electronic goodness.(For those who dig Flying Lotus) Here is a little sample for you to check out.
