This week, I’m in DC for the Inauguration. I will be posting photos and updates over at our twitter page. So check it out. On this past week’s show we had a special Inaugural mix featuring nothing but DC artists.

[ January 17, 2009 to January 19, 2009. ] One more week, and I will be back in my second of home of Washington DC (Atlanta is my first). I will be hanging out with my friends from Howard, fellow bloggers such as The Couchsessions, and witnessing history in the making. I will be attending quite few of events including ManifestHope:DC (big ups to Lichiban).

As of Today, the Obamas are now officially residents of Washington DC. I would like to welcome them as a former long time resident, and I know you will love it just like I did. Mr. Obama has also offered a welcoming gift to his fellow ‘neighbors’ of DC by creating the first ever Neighborhood Inaugural Ball. Here is the press release:

[ January 20, 2009 9:00 pm to January 21, 2009 5:00 am. ] I am heading back to my old stomping grounds of Washington DC for the Inauguraton. I am alumni of Howard University, and I left DC back in late 96 and I haven’t been back in a couple of years. My peeps still live there repping Adams Morgan. I decide from now until the big day, I will be highlighting a variety of events going down in Chocolate City. I also thinking of trying to throw a party myself (I don’t know yet).
