One of the most creative cats in Hip Hop, Del The Funky Homosapien is back with a new album, but there is a catch. He wants you to have it for free. The album is called “Funk Man (the stimulus package)”.

On the foot of Karma EP and right before their second full length album called Abundance due on Inauguration, PPP delivers the Abundance Mixtape. The mixtape features exclusive remixes, blends by Okayplayer’s DJ Topspin plus previously unreleased material. The New Year is starting off just right. I got some good beer, some good food, and now a free Bjork inspired beat tape from Los Angeles based producer Dert that is called Talk Strange. As some of you know, Bjork is one of my favorite artists period.

One of my favortie albums of 2008 is Santogold’s debut album. A solid album through and through. One of my favorite tracks is Lights Out; however, everytime I hear I think of the Bud Light Lime commercial until now. France’s Tepr adds a little spice to “Lights Out” with his remix. And now no more lime beer after taste (even though it was cool that Bud used Santogold for their ad campaign). (via Analog Giant)

I have been feeling Shawn Hewitt for a while now. Shawn is a singer songwriter from Toronto,Canada and drop his first release “Spare Hearts” back in September. The video is for his single “1 On ONe” which is very epic and powerful.
